Finally...the Beach!!
Jul. 27th, 2010 01:56 pmSo...last Friday, I decided on a whim that my friends and I should head to Florida. It was completely spontaneous of me, but, I gotta say, I don't regret it at all.
It was well worth it. :) I got to see the wonderful beach, and I got to just have lots of fun. We ended up going to Pensacola, which was only a 7 hour drive from where we live. It was kinda cloudy the entire time, but it didn't rain during the day, so it was enjoyable and not too hot. The beach was just so much fun... I haven't been to a beach in years, so it was nice to feel the sand and jump over ocean waves. I even drove 5 hours on our way back home. Now that's an accomplishment, cause anyone who knows me knows that I hate driving. My only disappointment was that I didn't get a tan at all. Probably because it was mostly cloudy the whole time. Oh well, I can do the tanning thing here. At least I got to go to the beach, that's really all I wanted to do.
