Today was one of those days, you know? Just not really in the mood to do anything. Stayed in my dorm room almost the entire day...on the computer. Doing nothing. Not because I was depressed or anything. I just didn't feel like going out in the heat. It's just too much sometimes. So I stayed in the comfort of my dorm's A/C.

Later on, after we went out for dinner, though, we went to a "party" of sorts, where I got wasted off my ass. It was very fun though! Met a lot of people I probably wouldn't have met otherwise! There was a girl there who was an exchange student 2 years ago, and she brought a few Japanese speaking people! I learned a bit from them, and got to speak a tad bit of Japanese. I guess that's the best way to learn. So far I've only been hanging out with other exchange students, so I'm not learning much...

So that was one thing I realized last night. As much of a social invert I am, I need to learn to meet new people! Especially Japanese people. I'm not gonna learn anything if I just hang out with other exchange students. Not to say I don't like the other exchange students... Just that I want to learn the language if I'm gonna be here for so long. How bad would it be if I didn't even become somewhat fluent during my time here? Yeah. I would hate myself.
